Amazon Unbox was launched on September 7, 2006. It offers tv shows and movies from six major TV and movie studios. Prices for downloads start at $1.99 and invite users to maintain copies of the downloads on two different computers or portable devices. The service is designed to assist Windows XP or Windows Vista. At this point, downloads cannot be burned to some DVD for television viewing, nor would it be yet compatible with Mac. So far, the service is only available to U.S. residents in 48 contiguous states, Alaska, Hawaii, as well as the District of Columbia.

In 1994, The Louisiana Story was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress to "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." It is the story of your Cajun boy and his family, living for the bayous you might say of life we can barely imagine.

The boy's family rents land towards the oil company, which comes in, drills, leaving everything just like it was, clean and unspoiled apart from the family carries a little more money. (Yes, it had been funded through the Standard Oil Company.)

The boy spends nearly all of his time on his narrow boat (pirogue), floating across the bayous, prime snake and alligator habitat, along with his pet raccoon.
